Erin Metcalf began her career as both Office Manager and Bookkeeper for her family’s business, Highland Orchards Resort Park and RV Sales and Service in Southeastern Connecticut. Upon the sale of the firm, Erin then endeavored upon a nine-year adventure in Alaska. In Anchorage, she formalized her accounting skills and raised her two children. Given her financial acumen, Erin became an invaluable member of many school committees, consistently assuming responsibility as Treasurer and also Founder of a nonprofit corporation. Following her move to Fredericksburg, VA, Erin assumed the role of Business Office Manager at University of Mary Washington implementing a new set of Governmental reporting processes and procedures. At the Newport Music Festival, Erin overseas the company’s bookkeeping, accounting, and finances as well as all office operations and customer service.
Erin received her BA from Central Connecticut State University and currently resides in Newport with her husband, a son and daughter in college and two labs. She is an avid birder who always has binoculars on hand and is a member of the National Audubon Society as well as local RI Audubon and Norman Bird Sanctuary.
